Toss Away Your Lipstick
for the Next 2-5 Years!
Lip Blush is WATER-PROOF, SWEAT-PROOF, GYM-PROOF, SWIM-PROOF, BEACH-PROOF
Lip Blush is a long-lasting, natural-looking solution having to wear lipstick every day. Lip Blush is known by many names, Aquarelle Lips, Lush Lips, Watercolor, Kissable Lips, just to name a few, but regardless of what it is called, it is a cosmetic tattoo treatment or Lips PMU (Permanent Makeup) for the enhancement of your natural lip color.
Lip Blush treatments can range from very natural to a more intense matte lipstick healed result. Results can last anywhere from 2-5 years, depending on pigments used, lifestyle, skincare, and upkeep.
Effortless Beauty Clinic is here to help you every step of the way.
Permanent Makeup is a 2-step process.
You’ll come in for your first session, which typically takes about 3-4 hours, then go home and heal for 10 weeks. At the 10 week mark, you’ll return for your touchup appointment. This is when we can make any necessary modifications and fill in any areas that may have healed light or patchy. Then you’re good to go for 2-5 years before you’ll be ready for a Color Boosting Appointment.
Who is Lip-Blushing for?
Great Question! These treatments are for clients who wish to enhance / even out their natural color or wish to have a more dramatic overall lip color.
Lip Blush will give you kissable lips all day, every day, without the hassle of lips stains or lipsticks by enhancing your lip color and accentuating your natural shape for your perfect pout.
Is it painful?
The second most popular question of all time! Discomfort is relative. Most of our clients take a nap. Our technique ensures minimal sensation during the treatment. My goal is to have you rate it a 2-3 out of 10, with 10 being extreme pain and 1 being nothing at all. In the cases of extreme sensitivity, we use topical agents to reduce sensation. We ask that you try not to book your appointment 3 days before and during your menstrual cycle as you may be (aka WILL BE) more sensitive. And please follow the pre-care instructions you receive at the time of booking. Adhering to the pre-care will significantly reduce your sensitivity, and BONUS – your results will be even better.
Can it be customized?
What color? What shape? We will discuss your goals in great detail when you come for your appointment.
We will discuss color and intensity as well as devise a treatment plan specific to you. Some clients who want to even out lip color with extremely natural healed results or those desiring a bold, red, matte lipstick effect.
Cosmetic Tattoo treatments take a minimum of two sessions. Spacing the treatments out over two sessions (10 weeks apart) allows us to build pigmentation slowly and make any adjustments. Once your treatments are complete, results with proper continued care can last 5+ years.
What Can You Expect at Your Appointment?
Typically a lip appointment takes about 3-4 hours hours from hello to goodbye.
When you book online you’ll also remit your non-refundable booking fee. Within 24-hours you will receive a welcome video and links to the online medical and consent forms.
When you arrive, the fun begins right away! You and I will look in the mirror together and discuss your lips. We’ll note what you like about them and what you don’t and discuss which changes we can make to reach your goals.
At this point, I draw the outline with a makeup pencil and hand you the mirror again. This is when you can edit: I like them. I want them plumper. I want the cupid’s bow softer/sharper. Please rest assured, I always err on the side of being conservative in the first session. Having done hundreds upon hundreds of permanent makeup procedures, I know that not every person heals the same. I find it best to keep things conservative, and then we can always add on at the second session touchup.
Once you’ve approved the shape, we will move to the color. Please bring in your favorite lip color or pictures of your favorite lip color so that I can custom blend and color match a lip shade, especially for you. If you’ve ever had a facial with us you will be familiar with our signature color, “Hopeful” which is universally flattering on all our clients. It has also proven to be our most popular lip blush shade.
Once we have the color blended I will begin with the outline of your lips following the design we have agreed upon. After that, I will lightly scratch the lips with my needle to open the skin for receiving the topical numbing. This will sit for approximately 5 minutes and then we will begin the shading portion of the procedure. My Lush Lip technique requires just one pass. Most clients begin to nap during this phase of the treatment and we are already onto the final half of the process when they awake from their nap.
After I have completed your lips, I will do a cold compress to help alleviate any discomfort or swelling. Then we will do a reveal, take pictures, and go over your aftercare. I like to review your aftercare at the end of your service so that it is fresh in your mind when you leave. Have no fear about remembering everything! I not only send you home with all the supplies you need and I will also send you an email with the aftercare instructions.
Before your departure, the receptionist or my assistant will check you out and set your 10-week touchup appointment. Then, you are on your way to living your most kissable days ever!
