Beauty is a team sport. To have the amazing brows you desire, we have some pre-microblading “training” for you to do. Follow these rules to ensure your skin is in the optimal health and condition for your microblading procedure.

Please call, text, or email if you have any questions…especially if you accidentally break the rules. Honesty and teamwork are the super secret keys to amazing brows.

Please do not work out the day of the procedure as the body heat will expands the pores and increase blood flow. I know, Austin Women, this is a doozy but very important. I can’t tell you what a huge difference something like this can make in having a successful procedure.

Avoid heavy sunlight and especially sunburn 3 days before procedure. Skin should not be in process of healing before procedure!

Do NOT drink coffee or anything with caffeine the day of procedure. This is my least favorite rule. I am so very, very sorry.

Do NOT take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E and/or Ibuprofen, or omega-3, unless medically necessary, 48-72 hours prior to the procedure. (Tylenol or acetaminophen is okay!)

Do NOT drink alcohol 24 hours before the procedure. Two glasses of wine is two too many.

The following treatments should avoided within four weeks of the procedure:

  • Botox or other fillers
  • Chemical Peels
  • Laser treatments

Pro-Tip: Plan your appointment around your menstrual cycle. It WILL hurt more if you are on or near the start of your cycle. Your blood will also be thinner at this time and retention might be diminished. Appointments are best scheduled Cycle Day 5 and up to 2 days before your period begins.
